About ETSS

Built by a Litigant, for Litigants

ETSS was born from lived experience. Founded by Thembelihle Skosana while navigating two live Employment Tribunal cases against Thames Valley Police, the platform exists because no adequate tool did.

The Problem

Employment Tribunal proceedings have 31 distinct stages. Each comes with deadlines, documents, legal tests, and procedural requirements. Litigants in Person face this alone — often against well-resourced respondents with legal teams. Solicitors manage dozens of ET cases with generic tools not designed for tribunal work. Barristers receive instructions days before hearings with no structured preparation system. The result: missed deadlines, weak submissions, and injustice by default.

Our Solution

ETSS is a purpose-built platform that guides users through every stage — from ACAS Early Conciliation to the Employment Appeal Tribunal. It drafts documents, tracks deadlines, manages disclosure, calculates compensation, generates cross-examination scripts, and prepares skeleton arguments. All from one login, all referenced to the hearing bundle, all designed for the specific procedural requirements of the Employment Tribunal.

Validated in Real Proceedings

Every feature was built and tested against live cases. The system has been used across multi-day hearings involving race discrimination, victimisation, and harassment claims with 11 separate allegations. It works because it was built under real pressure, with real deadlines, against real respondents.

Our Mission

Access to justice should not depend on wealth. We exist to level the playing field.

⚖️

Equal Access

Every Litigant in Person deserves tools as powerful as those available to well-resourced respondents with full legal teams. ETSS closes that gap.

🛡️

Protect Rights

Employment rights mean nothing if people cannot enforce them. We make enforcement practical, structured, and achievable — with or without a lawyer.

🏛️

Strengthen the System

Better-prepared litigants lead to better hearings, better decisions, and a stronger Employment Tribunal system for everyone.

We believe that nobody should lose a case because they missed a deadline they did not know existed. Nobody should face a hearing without understanding the 31 stages that brought them there. Nobody should calculate compensation on the back of an envelope when the law provides a clear framework.

For legal professionals, we believe technology should respect your expertise — not replace it. ETSS removes the administrative burden so solicitors can focus on strategy and barristers can focus on advocacy. The platform handles the structure; you bring the judgment.

ETSS is built and operated by ModelLaw Limited (Company No. 13064755) in England. All data is stored in the UK. The platform is fully UK GDPR compliant.
