Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial

All paid plans include a 14-day free trial period. During the trial, you have full access to your tier's features with no charge. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.

2. Cooling-Off Period

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund, no questions asked.

To exercise this right, contact us at etss@modellawoffice.co.uk within 14 days of your first charge.

3. Monthly Subscriptions

All subscriptions are billed monthly. There are no annual contracts or lock-in periods.

  • You may cancel at any time from your Billing page
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You retain full access until the billing period expires
  • No partial-month refunds are given for cancellations after the 14-day cooling-off period

4. Refunds After Cooling-Off Period

After the 14-day cooling-off period, refunds are granted at our discretion in the following circumstances:

  • Platform was unavailable for an extended period (more than 48 hours) due to our fault
  • You were charged in error (duplicate payment, wrong amount)
  • A material feature advertised was not available during your billing period

To request a refund, email etss@modellawoffice.co.uk with your account email and reason for the request.

5. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription in two ways:

  • Self-service: Go to Dashboard → Billing → Manage Subscription → Cancel
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to etss@modellawoffice.co.uk

We will confirm your cancellation within 2 business days.

6. Data After Cancellation

After cancellation:

  • Your data is retained for 30 days in case you resubscribe
  • After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted
  • You can request immediate deletion at any time (GDPR Art. 17)
  • You can export all your data before cancelling (GDPR Art. 20)

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method via Stripe.
